The So So Incredibly Beautiful Gallery is an unconventional art space. Probably because perched up high on the 42nd Floor of the Sky House on 11 E 29th Street in between Madison & 5th Avenue in Manhattan’s Flatiron district, an unlikely place for an art gallery – Or, most likely because it is the same place where Artist Agent and Manager, Susi Kenna, sleeps, eats, and breathes. Yes. She is bathed every night, in neon light, emitted by glowing sculptures and other pop-art offerings from the creative minds of Cuban-American artists Carlos Charlie Perez and Julio Cesar Gonzalez. Susi let these two artists take over her apartment for six months, transforming it into a live-in art space. With 360 views of Manhattan’s city skyline, we think it’s the perfect place to see this neon in action, and Susi’s the perfect girl to bring it all together.
Here is the story. Take a look.
